SFFCU Online Banking & Mobile App can be an effective tool to help you monitor your accounts for potential fraud. Did you know you can set up customized alerts via email or text? Our online banking app can notify you when your balance reaches a certain dollar amount, when your account has withdrawals or deposits posting, when your loan payment is due, or even when a specific check number you've been waiting on clears. You can tailor these alerts to fit exactly what you want to be notified of, for example you can receive alerts for transactions from specific retailers, or for dollar amounts greater than what you typically spend. These alerts can be your first line of defense to recognizing unauthorized activity and reporting it before substantial losses are incurred.
As shown in the image below, once you log-in to Online Banking or the Mobile App, go to the Alerts option under Communications in the options menu in order to set up one or more alerts for your account.
